Description

Lay Recertification Training is designed for lay ministers who attended a Comprehensive day of basic safe church training three years ago. This training is two and a half-hours long and offers new and updated information. The focus is on the protection of children and youth and prevention of elder abuse. The recertification includes an online course that must be done prior to attending the live training session.

Please note: You will receive a confirmation email after you have successfully registered. If you have difficulty registering, do not receive a confirmation email, or have any questions about the training contact Deb Kenney at dkenney@episcopalct.org.

*The instructions to sign up for the online course will be included in the confirmation email. Scroll to the bottom of the email to "ADDITIONAL INFORMATION".

Registration ends at 11:30 p.m. on November 17, 2019 (1 week before training) or when training is full, whichever comes first.

Check-in the evening of the training is 6:00 PM. Training begins promptly at 6:30 PM.
